Please read this document in full before using the materials in this kit.

Effective Date: 2026
⚠ Read Before Using This Kit

By downloading, opening, or using any file in the Credit Rewrite kit, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to any part of these terms, do not use the materials.

1. Nature of This Product — Educational Content Only

The Credit Rewrite kit (the "Kit") is an educational and informational product. It consists of written guides, letter templates, interactive tools, calculators, and reference charts that explain consumer rights under federal law, including the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA), and the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA).

The Kit is not:

2. Credit Repair Organizations Act (CROA) Notice

The publisher of Credit Rewrite is not a "credit repair organization" as defined under the Credit Repair Organizations Act, 15 U.S.C. § 1679a(3). The publisher does not perform credit repair services on your behalf, does not communicate with credit bureaus on your behalf, does not charge recurring fees, and does not make representations about the ability to remove specific negative items from your credit report.

The Kit is sold as a one-time purchase of educational content. All actions related to disputing credit report items, sending letters, communicating with creditors, or negotiating debts are performed by you, the purchaser, using publicly available consumer rights.

3. No Guarantee of Results

Individual results vary and no specific outcome is guaranteed. Credit repair and rebuilding outcomes depend on many factors outside the publisher's control, including but not limited to: your individual credit history, the accuracy of items on your credit reports, creditor and bureau responses, applicable state and federal laws, the actions you take (or fail to take), and market conditions.

The publisher makes no representations, warranties, or guarantees that use of this Kit will result in:

Any statistics, examples, timelines, or dollar-figure references in the Kit are illustrative estimates based on general market data and public sources. They are not typical results and do not guarantee similar outcomes for any individual user.

4. Not Legal Advice — No Attorney-Client Relationship

Nothing in the Kit constitutes legal advice. Use of the Kit does not create an attorney-client relationship between you and the publisher, and no such relationship should be inferred. Statutory references, letter templates, and legal explanations in the Kit are provided for general educational understanding only.

For any specific legal question — including but not limited to active debt lawsuits, statute of limitations analysis, identity theft cases, bankruptcy proceedings, FCRA or FDCPA litigation, or state-specific consumer protection issues — you should consult a licensed attorney in your jurisdiction. Many consumer protection attorneys offer free consultations and work on contingency for FCRA/FDCPA violations.

5. Not Financial Advice

Nothing in the Kit constitutes financial, investment, or tax advice. Discussions of debt payoff strategies, utilization ratios, credit rebuilding tactics, or budgeting are for educational purposes only. For personalized financial guidance, consult a licensed financial advisor, certified financial planner, or tax professional.

6. Accuracy of Information

The publisher has made reasonable efforts to ensure the information in the Kit is accurate as of the effective date. However, federal and state laws change over time, credit bureau practices evolve, and specific circumstances may alter the applicability of any information provided. The publisher makes no warranty of accuracy, currency, or completeness.

You are responsible for verifying current legal requirements, bureau addresses, statutory deadlines, and any other factual information before taking action based on the Kit.

7. Third-Party Trademarks and References

The Kit references entities including but not limited to: Equifax, Experian, TransUnion, FICO, VantageScore, Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB), Federal Trade Commission (FTC), Internal Revenue Service (IRS), National Consumer Law Center (NCLC), Adobe, Microsoft Word, and various credit card issuers and financial institutions. All such names, logos, and trademarks are the property of their respective owners. The Kit is not endorsed by, sponsored by, or affiliated with any of these entities.

8. Copyright and License

All content in the Kit — including but not limited to text, letter templates, worksheets, interactive tools, source code, images, and design — is the copyrighted property of the Credit Rewrite publisher. Unless expressly stated otherwise:

Unauthorized distribution constitutes copyright infringement and may result in civil and criminal penalties under 17 U.S.C. § 501 et seq.

9. Data and Privacy

The interactive tools in the Kit (the Toolkit App and Playbook Web Book) store data locally in your web browser using browser localStorage technology. This data:

You are responsible for safeguarding your own data, including any personal information (name, address, SSN, financial details) you enter into the tools. The publisher recommends that you never enter your full Social Security Number — only the last four digits are needed for dispute letters.

10. "AS-IS" Warranty Disclaimer

THE KIT IS PROVIDED "AS-IS" AND "AS-AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. THE PUBLISHER SPECIFICALLY DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, COMPLETENESS, NON-INFRINGEMENT, TITLE, QUIET ENJOYMENT, AND ANY WARRANTIES ARISING OUT OF COURSE OF DEALING OR USAGE OF TRADE.

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL THE PUBLISHER BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, PUNITIVE, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE KIT — INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO DAMAGES FOR LOST PROFITS, LOSS OF DATA, LOSS OF GOODWILL, INJURY TO CREDIT, DENIAL OF CREDIT, OR ADVERSE LEGAL OUTCOMES — EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

THE PUBLISHER'S TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE KIT SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE KIT.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages, so some or all of the above limitations may not apply to you.

12. No Refunds

The Kit is a digital product delivered instantly upon purchase. Because you receive full access to all files immediately, all sales are final. The publisher does not offer refunds, credits, or exchanges once the download link has been provided. By purchasing the Kit, you acknowledge and accept this no-refund policy.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the publisher from and against any and all claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to: (a) your use or misuse of the Kit, (b) any action you take based on information in the Kit, (c) your violation of these Terms, or (d) your violation of any applicable law, regulation, or third-party right.

14. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by applicable U.S. federal law and state consumer protection laws. Specific governing jurisdiction and dispute resolution procedures may be updated in future versions of these Terms.

15. Eligibility

The Kit is intended for adult (18+) consumers residing in the United States. It addresses U.S. federal law and state-specific rules within the United States. It does not address credit systems, laws, or regulations of any other country. Non-U.S. users may find the general principles instructive but should consult local laws for their specific jurisdiction.

16. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary so that the remaining Terms shall otherwise remain in full force and effect.

17. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with any disclaimers included in individual Kit files, constitute the entire agreement between you and the publisher regarding the Kit and supersede any prior agreements, communications, or representations.

18. Changes to These Terms

The publisher reserves the right to update these Terms for future versions of the Kit. Your continued use of the Kit after receiving any updated version constitutes your acceptance of the modified Terms.
